Citizen Participation Institute
The Citizen Participation Institute has created a set of on-line tools and guidebooks to assist citizens who are contemplating a run for local office. The web page is: http://www.citizenparticipation.org/ It is a combination of civics tutorial and detailed how-to information.
Once petition signatures can be collected, a tool that accepts your input (name, address, office sought, etc.) will become available. It will create custom forms for you to print.
Election Integrity Program
Our lawsuit against the Illinois State Board of Elections, in partnership with Judicial Watch, is working its way through Federal court. The goal of the suit is to ensure Illinois voter rolls are accurate and maintained properly. In addition, following years of study and first-hand immersion in Illinois elections from every angle, ICU has crafted a comprehensive program for election integrity. We have been speaking to groups and organizations around the state for the past few years, teaching and training them how to implement election integrity safeguards in their local area. Together we can make a difference.
